Convert target amounts into ingredient mass and a realistic gummy serving. Consider ingredient form, taste, heat exposure, acidity, interactions and analytical methods.

Develop the sensory experience

Review sweetness, acidity, bitterness, aroma, chew and finish. Center-filled or coated formats add additional questions about distribution, texture contrast and moisture behavior.

Test the product in its intended package

Define relevant pH, water activity, sensory and stability checks. A pilot and finished-product specification create the basis for approved scale-up; shelf life and analytical claims need supporting data.

Close the loop with the buyer

Document sample feedback, formula changes, artwork review and acceptance criteria. Retain the approved specification and identify the version used for commercial production.
